Welcome to Living Stones Fellowship
The name “Living Stones Fellowship” comes from 1 Peter 2:4-10: “4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ….”
The Mission of Living Stones Fellowship is to teach the habitation rather than mere visitations by “practicing the presence of God.” We want to live in the “secret place of the Most High.” We see people saved, baptized in water AND in the Holy Spirit! Families and communities are changed by living whole-heartedly in Christ through prayer, worship, devotion to the Word, and fellowship. People are added to the church by encouraging them to love and forgive each other as we preach good news about the Kingdom of God just like Jesus did.
We believe in God the Father Yahweh, Jesus Christ His only begotten Son who is the Firstborn among many brethren, and the Holy Spirit resident within us. We believe in functional leadership of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons, as well as varying administrative gifts flowing through each believer, ALL being equal before God and each other in mutually reciprocating submission and equality. Manifestation of gifts of the Spirit is normal, free and orderly. Disciples are made by teaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God and about Jesus, our King, Friend, Companion, Healer, and Bridegroom. We are new creatures in Christ, and encourage Christians to be continually more intimate with God and to open our hearts in loving-kindness’ to all people.
Our Vision is to touch people through the power of the Holy Spirit and giving them hope, joy and healing. Christians are able, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to be everything that the Bible says we are, the Bride of Christ, with all the power and authority delegated to us by the Word of God. It is our aim to encourage every believer to step into the calling God has anointed them for. Born again, Spirit filled and anointed believers bear the image of the Heavenly Man, and may partake of divine nature in this life as we are joyfully obedient to Christ.
