The more time we spend with God the more we strengthen our spiritual understanding and weaken our worldly addictions. Do you crave God as much as you crave everything else in life? Is He your first thought when awaking to a new dawn? Is He your last thought when you lay your head upon your pillow for a good night’s rest? Is God on your mind and in your heart while you enjoy the gift of life? How many honest answers will these questions bring? Only you and God will know the truth.

Refining Our Relationship with Christ

Living a Godly life isn’t easy. It means we can’t conform to the ways of the world and must be obedient. From Genesis to Revelation the Bible has a lot to say about obedience. In the story of the “Ten Commandments” we are able to give credence to the wrath of God when His directives are ignored by man’s disobedience.

Deuteronomy 11:26–28 sums it up like this: "Obey and you will be blessed. Disobey and you will be cursed."

I’d say that’s pretty straight forward!

I also care about the personal relationship that I share with God. Over the course of my life the Lord has led me through some pretty difficult times and has taught me to be patient in my faith.

A Good Connection

It is said by Christian leaders that every human being has a “God shaped hole” in their heart.  Only God Almighty Himself can fill that space in a way that is truly fulfilling.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by Me.”  Once a person “finds God” or “gets saved,” or “comes to Jesus” we need to make a good, unbreakably solid connection with Him that will keep us on the right track.  Here are some good scriptures that might help you: “keep on track” and assure you of “A Good Connection:”
